A new Englisure: rebuilt, more secure, and moved to new infrastructure
Over the past months we have completely rebuilt the Englisure platform. The new website runs on new, more secure hosting and introduces a stronger, fairer assessment process — so that every Englisure certificate carries more weight with the employers and licensing authorities who rely on it.
What's new
- Verified accounts — every new account now confirms its email address with a one-time code.
- Stronger proctoring — photo ID checks, continuous webcam monitoring and automatic detection of blocked or covered cameras.
- Human review — every test is checked by our team before a certificate is issued.
- A better test experience — a free demo, progress that is saved as you go, and the ability to review and change your answers before you submit.
- Upgraded security — modernised systems for account protection, payments and data handling throughout.
Important: existing accounts have been closed
As part of the move to the new platform and our security upgrade, we did not carry user accounts across from the previous system. All accounts created before this update have been closed, and you will need to register again to take a new test.
Your certificate is safe
Every certificate issued on the previous platform has been preserved and can still be verified by anyone, using its original reference number, on our verification page. Nothing about the validity of your certificate has changed.
Need a copy of your certificate?
If you would like a fresh copy of a certificate issued before this update, email info@englisure.co.uk with:
- your full name as it appears on the certificate,
- the email address you used when you took the test, and
- proof of identity — a photo of your driving licence or passport.
Once we have confirmed your identity, we will email a copy of your certificate to you. For your security, we can only send certificates to the email address used at the time of the test.
